IS200STTCH2A  After the completion of the upgrade of Youtong Smart factory, the very Zhijia P series picking robot can walk freely under the shelf without reserving a large number of channels, and the shelf is arranged in a dense manner to achieve a storage space of 40% higher than before. “Compared to last year before we moved into the new factory, the floor efficiency of the factory has increased by more than 40%, the material preparation efficiency has increased by 20%, and the productivity has increased by more than 30%,” said Chen Yongcheng, senior Director of the Manufacturing Department of Youtong Operations Center.

Affected by the global epidemic, enterprises are facing a severe test of labor shortage. As the industry’s leading supplier of industrial computers, Youtong took the lead in deciding to introduce automation technology in the new plant of more than 3,000 square meters to solve the problem. Li Changhong, vice chairman of Youtong Information, told the media: “At present, the whole society has limited human resources and it is difficult to recruit workers. Therefore, Youtong hopes to help factories and employees unleash greater productivity by investing in IT+OT technology.”

An automated intelligent warehouse spanning 2 floors is used to store the materials required for production. Through the dense arrangement of nearly 800 shelves, we further maximize the storage space and greatly reduce the storage and operating costs of customers. In addition, the AMR robot can shuttle freely between the two storehouses by taking the cargo elevator to realize the automatic operation of the whole process of receiving, picking and storing goods.

With the help of intelligent algorithms, the system can adjust the cargo location in real time according to the heat of the material, store the materials with low turnover rate on the 2nd floor, and place the commonly used spare parts on the shelf near the workstation, shortening the robot handling distance and ensuring that the picking is completed quickly and efficiently. In addition, the intelligent storage system can also automatically record the inventory information of materials, achieve comprehensive digital management of the supply chain, and greatly save the manpower required for inventory.
