With the introduction of new EU machinery regulations, industrial information security issues will become mandatory by 2027 at the latest. Secure communications in Industrial transformation

Secure communication with the field is a prerequisite for a DVC6010 successful transformation: Peer Magnetic will show how its complete IO-Link Safety system, including master stations, field equipment and accessories, enables secure data communication for every sensor in the field, and how it ensures higher availability and more flexible automation. At this exhibition, visitors will experience the benefits of this complete solution on a connected automation device that integrates robotics. Secure data transmission through EtherCAT, an open communication system, combined with Safety over EtherCAT FSoE, a security protocol, is also an issue. Secure data transfer can be achieved using a solution with FSoE capabilities, such as the small security controller PNOZmulti 2.

This year’s Hannover MESse partner country is Norway, where almost half of the country’s final energy consumption comes from hydropower. Norway wants to accelerate the development of electrification in order to decarbonize its industry.
