At 9:58 am on April 10, the first digital control system (DCS) cabinet of the multi-purpose modular small reactor technology demonstration project “Linglong No. 1” in Changjiang County, Hainan province, was in place and started installation and commissioning work.
MVME335 DCS is known as the “nerve center” of nuclear power plant operation. “Linglong No. 1” DCS uses the dragon scale platform and Dragon fin platform with independent intellectual property rights in China.
The first dragon fin platform cabinet in place is a plant-wide non-safety level control system specially developed by CNPC for large nuclear facilities such as nuclear power plants. The platform inherits and develops the experience and key technologies accumulated by CNNC over the years, integrates the latest advanced technologies such as data acquisition, process control, large-scale networking, fieldbus and information management, and meets the requirements of high reliability and high safety of nuclear facilities.
The technology of intelligent device management, multi-protocol large-scale communication, and whole-plant monitoring integration has generally reached the international advanced level, among which the controller self-diagnosis technology, fieldbus technology, server redundancy switching technology and real-time monitoring module library technology have reached the international leading level.
MVME335 The smooth introduction of the first DCS cabinet in the world’s first pile of “Linglong No. 1” marked the transition of DCS into the field installation stage, laying the foundation for the subsequent work such as the availability of the master control room.
