The Group achieved remarkable success in 2023, with a record turnover of 433 million euros in the financial year.

2711P-K10C4A2  2023 will be a challenging and successful year for our group. In the first half of the year, we faced the double pressure of parts shortage and high demand, which caused us to implement a production system of three shifts. Nevertheless, we have succeeded in meeting the needs of our customers and strengthened our relationship with them through transparent communication. However, from the second quarter onwards, the order volume decreased significantly, mainly due to lower demand and the impact of the overall economic environment in the engineering sector.

Despite the challenges, we achieved the highest turnover in the company’s 75-year history. We thank all of our employees for their tireless efforts, and the Pilmagen Group will continue to write its own success story.

The global presence of Pierre Magnet is the key to its success

Europe:

For the first time in its home market in Germany, Piercy has exceeded the 100 million euro mark. Due to the faster than average growth of the German market, the total share of exports decreased slightly to 75.4%. Other European countries such as Italy, Switzerland, Austria and the United Kingdom also saw strong growth. Especially in the food and packaging machinery sectors, demand has surged since the COVID-19 pandemic. The company provides specialized, certified industry solutions to help customers meet growing challenges.

In Europe, security issues are becoming more visible in the market. One of the driving factors is the new EU Machinery Regulation, published at the end of June 2023, which for the first time mandates information security for general engineering. Machine manufacturers must take into account the required security specifications in the next generation of machine controllers and network infrastructure. Pierre Magneto understands the new legal norms and has updated the range of security services and automation solutions. Our products include machinery safety and the necessary industrial information security to support companies that require secure automation.

Asia:

2711P-K10C4A2  Pierre Magneto has expanded its presence in the growing markets of the Asia Pacific region and expanded its product range. Pilmagnetic is expanding its sales and technical support teams to be closer to and better serve its customers. The company has established close working relationships with local distributors, which enables the company to provide products, advice and services to customers throughout the region.

America:

In 2023, all subsidiaries in the Americas region achieved record results. Machinery safety and information security issues are increasingly important, and local regulations in various countries require companies to adopt safe technical solutions and procedures.

American companies are bringing production capacity back home, which offers great potential for mechanical engineering. The expansion of the company’s presence in Brazil has enabled the company to meet the growing needs of its customers throughout South America with support, services and products. It was in Brazil that Pielmagnet recently signed the largest single service order in the company’s history. The order involved consulting, risk assessment and safety concepts for an industrial company with 32 production sites and more than 30,000 machines.
