8237-2597 The products and services launched in recent months take into account the requirements of mechanical safety and information security, but that is not all. Automation solutions from Pilmagnetic help to save time and costs throughout the machine life cycle, ensuring productivity.
New products over the past few months include components, solutions and complete systems. For example, the PSENmlock mini, a new security lock for personnel protection, is compact in design with the trend towards miniaturization in mind. It is ideal for applications with high space requirements, such as baffles or cover plates.
In terms of internal logistics, Pilmagnetic offers manufacturers of free navigation mobile platforms comprehensive safety solutions in accordance with ISO 3691-4. This standard specifies safety-related requirements for automated guided vehicle systems. Solutions include the PNOZmulti 2, a secure small controller with new synchronous monitoring capabilities, the PSENscan, a secure laser scanner for area monitoring, and the SecurityBridge Industrial firewall for protecting against cyber attacks.
At Hannover MESse 2024, Pielmagneto presented the complete system of IO-Link Safety, the first non-proprietary standardized communication system. Pielmagneto is the first supplier to have a complete IO-Link Safety system for secure communication in the field: Pielmagneto’s solutions include master stations, sensors as well as field equipment and compatible accessories.
8237-2597 In addition to the technological innovation, there is also a new security service “ISCS – Industrial Information Security Consulting Service”. This helps companies meet new requirements for machine industry information security. The first pilot projects have been launched in Germany and Austria. During the event, participants were given in-depth information on innovations in IO-Link Safety and ISCS.
