On June 5, 2024, the Shanghai International Carbon Neutral Technology, Products and Achievements Expo officially opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. As a global partner in a safe and sustainable world, DEKRA is once again presenting its low-carbon and sustainable services at the Shanghai Carbon Expo, demonstrating DEKRA’s strong commitment to global green development.

1756-M08SE On the day of the exhibition, DEKRA is the two important R&D and production bases of Siemens China Co., LTD. : Suzhou Siemens Electric Appliance Co., LTD. (SEAL) and Beijing Siemens Siberus Electronics Co., LTD. (BSCE) respectively issued the “2023 Organizational Carbon Emission Verification Statement “and “Desigo Essentials® ELC.E14 Controller Product Carbon Footprint Verification Statement” certificates. The certification ceremony was held at the Siemens booth at the exhibition site.

Different from previous verification and certification projects, DEKRA adopted the online verification and certification module of Siemens Smart ECX carbon management platform in this verification: The platform collects and collates evidence, and automatically prepares verification data using an embedded professional factor library and a life-cycle carbon emissions calculation engine that meets international standards, significantly reducing offline verification time. Verification through the combination of online and offline can also retain the verification process data and improve the efficiency of periodic verification.
