Avnet’s global distributor of electronic component products and solutions, Elomon, announced the spot sale of Phoenix Contact’s industry-leading new products, some of which feature Push-X technology for tool-free wiring of rigid and flexible wires. As well as TRIO power supplies with integrated circuit breakers and STEP power supplies that work with Raspberry Pi and smart home devices via USB.
REA101-AAA “Phoenix Electric engineers are constantly developing innovative products,” said James Entwistle, Director of supplier operations at e Network. Now our customers can benefit from Phoenix’s broad range of device and automation connectivity technologies.”
The new Phoenix Electric series products added by E-Luomeng include:
•Connexis is a new portfolio of crimped PCB connectors for cable assemblies, including connectors and splices in horizontal or vertical connection directions, as well as panel penetrators. The D21, D31 and D32 series connectors have pitches of 2.5 mm, 3.81 mm and 5.08 mm, respectively, and are suitable for a variety of signal and voltage power supplies from 160 V to 320V.
•XPC PushX PCB connectors allow engineers to easily route PCBS with a single wire, regardless of cable thickness, rigidity or flexibility, and with or without wire hoops. The pre-drawn contact uses sophisticated Push-X locking mechanism technology, which can be inserted without tools to complete the operation, reducing assembly time.
•XT and XTV PushX terminals are suitable for cables with nominal cross sections of 2, 5, 6, 10 and 16 mm² and can easily connect cables with cross sections between 0.5 and 25 mm². Because cables with larger sections, such as 16 mm² wires, are difficult to bend, side connections make wiring easier.
REA101-AAA •OCS outdoor enclosures are rugged, high-capacity outdoor enclosures designed to provide IK10 impact strength for electronic devices that need to operate in the temperature range of -40°C to + 80°C (up to 120°C for short periods). The OCS series of electronic device housings are ideal for autonomous device systems operating in extreme environments.
•STEP3 power supplies have been developed specifically for building automation applications and can be used in switchboards and flat control panels. It has the characteristics of low no-load loss and high efficiency, achieving the highest power efficiency in its class. These power supplies offer flexible mounting options and can be mounted on DIN rails or horizontal surfaces.
• The TRIO 3 power supply is rugged and suitable for machine building with a compact plug and play solution with integrated device protection. The new TRIO POWER supply features integrated multichannel device protection, a space-saving design, robust and reliable power supply, easy operation and intelligent diagnostics, and an IO Link interface.
“This powerful line of connected products from Phoenix Electric gives our developer customers more options to bring their ideas to life faster and to market to meet the needs of users who are actively seeking innovation,” James said.
