Rockwell Automation has announced that a specific model in its Allen-Bradley 6181P series of industrial computers, the 6181P-17A2MWX1AC, will be discontinued on September 30, 2023. This integrated display industrial computer has been widely used in industrial and control room environments, providing high-performance processing power, an easy-to-use interface, and efficient management functions.
The 6181P-17A2MWX1AC model has a 17-inch display, a fourth-generation Intel Coreâ„¢ I-series 64-bit processor, and supports hyper-threading technology for powerful multitasking capabilities. It also comes with a USB 3.0 port for high-speed data transfer, as well as a wealth of I/O connectivity options including multiple serial ports, USB ports, Ethernet ports, and more.
The model also has remote management capabilities, using Intel AMT 9.0 technology to enable remote monitoring and maintenance. In addition, it has been designed with the needs of industrial environments in mind, including a fanless design to reduce maintenance time and a variety of mounting options such as wall, desktop or bookshelf mounting.
