General Electric (GE) recently introduced a new industrial automation component, the IS200TDBTH2A. This component is a T-discrete TMR (Triple Module Redundancy) board specially designed for the Mark VIeS security control system, which uses advanced redundancy technology to ensure system reliability and fault tolerance through three independent modules working in parallel and a majority voting mechanism.
The IS200TDBTH2A T discrete TMR board has the following features:
Compliance with international safety standard IEC 61508 ensures the functional safety of electrical/electronic/programmable electronic safety-related systems.
Suitable for industrial environments that require high safety and reliability, such as hazardous sites.
Used in combination with the Mark VIeS secure discrete I/O package for secure discrete signal input and output.
In addition, the IS200TDBTH2A terminal board is part of the GE Mark VI series, which is designed to manage and automate the operation of gas and steam turbines. The terminal board has a variety of electronic components, including two large terminals and a series of small silver metal terminals, as well as three connector ports, each with a large number of female connectors.
The launch of this product not only improves the performance of the Mark VIeS control system, but also provides users with a more flexible and efficient industrial automation solution. GE said the success of the IS200TDBTH2A T discrete TMR board reflects the company’s continued focus and investment in industrial automation control safety.
