Kongsberg has introduced a new remote digital input/output and relay module, the RDIOR420-32. Designed for KM automation systems, the module integrates 16 solid-state digital input/output (DI/DO) channels and 16 relay channels for A total of 32 I/O channels and communicates with the main control computer (RCU) via redundant I/O process buses (RBUS A and RBUS B). Ensure the reliability and stability of data transmission.
The features of the RDIOR420-32 module include:
16 individually configurable solid-state digital input or output channels provide flexible configuration options.
16 relay channels with normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) functions to suit different industrial automation needs.
The communication port adopts electrical isolation technology, which enhances the security and anti-interference ability of the system.
Solid state output channel with short circuit protection function, effectively prevent equipment damage caused by short circuit.
Supports online I/O channel configuration, simplifying the installation and commissioning process.
With module self-diagnosis function, easy to quickly identify and solve problems.
The compact design makes it easy to install and replace, while the module has a status LED indicator for easy monitoring of module status.
In terms of technical parameters, the input power supply voltage of the RDIOR420-32 module is 24VDC, the typical power consumption is 8W, the screw terminal is used as the power connector, and the connection section is 2.5mm². Relay channels support DC load voltage ranges from 15 to 300VDC, minimum current 100mA, maximum current 5A, AC load voltage ranges from 15 to 250VAC, maximum recommended current 2A.
In addition, the RDIOR420-32 module is SIL 1 compliant with line fault detection (LFD) and ground fault detection (EFD) functions, as well as a dual watchdog mechanism, ensuring high safety and reliability in industrial applications.
The introduction of the RDIOR420-32 module further enriches Kongsberg’s product line in the field of industrial automation, providing customers who need remote I/O solutions with an efficient, secure and easy to integrate option.
