ABB recently introduced the AC 800M communication interface module CI873AK01 3BSE092695R1, further enhancing the capabilities of its System 800xA system. This module connects to external Ethernet devices via the Ethernet/IP protocol, providing powerful communication capabilities and is an important part of the System 800xA control system.

The CI873AK01 3BSE092695R1 module has two Ethernet interfaces and two RS 232C interfaces, supporting a variety of communication protocols to ensure smooth communication with other devices. The module also supports up to 12 fieldbus module extensions, enabling more I/O clusters to be connected via the Profibus-DP bus for remote installation and management.
