August 27, 2024 – National Instruments (NI) announced the introduction of the new PXIe-8115 controller, an Intel Core i5 embedded controller designed for PXI systems. The PXIe-8115 is designed for processor-intensive, modular instrumentation and data acquisition applications and will bring significant performance improvements to automated testing and industrial control.
The PXIe-8115 controller is powered by a 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor and comes with six high-speed USB ports, two 10/100/1000BASE-TX gigabit Ethernet ports, and a wealth of peripheral I/O ports. These onboard peripheral ports minimize the number of external adapters, helping engineers build cost-effective hybrid systems. In addition, the controller comes with 2 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 memory, expandable up to 8 GB, and supports Windows 7 64-bit operating systems.
The PXIe-8115 controller’s In-ROM and hard drive diagnostics quickly determine controller health, improve operational performance, and minimize system downtime. Combined with NI LabVIEW system design software, engineers can increase development efficiency in a variety of test, measurement and control applications.
National Instruments’ PXIe-8115 controller is now available, and customers can find out more product details and purchase information through official channels. With the continuous development of test and measurement technology, the introduction of the PXIe-8115 controller will further strengthen National Instruments’ leadership position in the field and provide customers with more intelligent and automated solutions.
