Rockwell Automation announced the launch of the new communication module 1756-EN2TR, a highly efficient module designed for industrial EtherNet communications that supports the EtherNet/IP protocol with powerful data transmission and processing capabilities. The 1756-EN2TR module supports 10/100 Mbps communication rates to meet the needs of a wide range of industrial automation and control applications.
The module supports TCP/IP protocols and features dual Ethernet RJ45 Category 5 ports, providing flexibility for applications requiring redundant connections. The 1756-EN2TR also supports CIP (Common Industrial Protocol) connections, up to 128 TCP connections and 256 CIP connections, which makes it stable in a variety of complex network environments. In addition, the module’s thermal design power consumption is 5.1W and thermal dissipation is 17.4 BTU/h, ensuring stable operation under various environmental conditions.
The 1756-EN2TR module complies with several international standards and certifications, including but not limited to CE certification, ATEX certification and UL certification, ensuring its wide application and reliability worldwide. The environmental tolerance of the module is also excellent, operating in the storage temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and the operating temperature range of 0°C to 60°C.
