Title: Rockwell Automation releases new CompactLogix 5380 controller 5069-L306ERMS3
Body text:
Rockwell Automation today announced the introduction of the new CompactLogix 5380 Controller 5069-L306ERMS3, a high-performance industrial controller designed to meet the growing needs of the intelligent manufacturing machine and equipment market. The controller has 0.6 MB of user memory, supports 8 I/O points, 2 axes of motion control, and is capable of connecting up to 16 EtherNet/IP devices.
The new 5069-L306ERMS3 controller features include an enhanced diagnostic function that provides a display of controller status and fault information, simplifying the diagnosis and fault handling process. It also features dual gigabit (Gb) embedded Ethernet ports that support high-speed I/O, motion control, device-level ring networking (DLR), and linear topologies. In addition, the controller has additional Ethernet connectivity, especially for controllers with user memory capacity greater than 2 MB.
In terms of security, the 5069-L306ERMS3 controller improves security with controller-based change detection, logging, and encrypted firmware. It also provides role-based access control for routines and user-defined instructions, enhancing management capabilities. The controller meets the SIL 3/PLe functional safety level, is optimized to reduce safety response time, supports the Compact 5000â„¢ I/O safety module, and integrates safety functions into drive and motion control applications.
Rockwell Automation’s CompactLogix 5380 and Compact GuardLogix 5380 controllers help achieve faster system performance through their high processing power, productivity and safety. Meet the needs of the chemical, food and beverage, life sciences, metals and mining, oil and gas, and plastic products industries.
Concluding remarks:
The introduction of the new CompactLogix 5380 controller 5069-L306ERMS3 further enricues Rockwell Automation’s product line in industrial automation, providing customers with more efficient, safer and smarter automation solutions.
