Fireye has introduced a new all-in-one flame detector, the 85UVF1-1QD, which is part of the Phoenix 85UVF/IRF family and is designed for industrial combustion control applications. The detector uses a solid-state flame detection sensor and is equipped with a microprocessor that automatically sets detection thresholds with and without fire, thereby improving the safety and reliability of the combustion process.
The 85UVF1-1QD flame detector is self-diagnostic and electronic self-test capable of detecting ultraviolet light at 295-340nm wavelengths and is suitable for a wide range of burners and industrial applications, such as flue burners, industrial gas burners, oil refining equipment, etc. In addition, the equipment is equipped with advanced optical filters that can adjust the optical sensitivity to detect visible light at wavelengths from 310nm to 500nm, which is especially suitable for the combustion detection of blast furnace gas and coke oven gas in steel plants.
The flame detector is designed to meet the SIL3 safety rating, ensuring high performance in critical applications. It is connected to the cable by an 8-pin electrical quick-release connector, which simplifies the installation process and can be directly applied to Class I Division 2 danger areas. In addition, the 85UVF1-1QD also has a standard 4-20mA flame intensity signal output for easy integration with existing control systems.
Fireye emphasizes that the introduction of the 85UVF1-1QD flame detector further enricues its product line in the field of industrial combustion control, providing customers with more diversified options. The company promises that for all Phoenix series probes, it will provide a warranty service of at least one year to ensure that the interests of customers are protected.
