Rockwell Automation has announced the end of its Flex Ex series power module, the 1797-PS1E. This module has been an important component in the field of industrial automation, supporting a wide range of industrial applications with its high performance and reliability.
The 1797-PS1E power module meets the high safety standards required in industrial automation control systems with its rugged fireproof housing and intrinsic safety features. Designed to provide stable power in hazardous environments, the module features a wide input voltage range of 85-253 VAC and an input frequency of 47-63 Hz, enabling it to adapt to a wide range of power supply environments. It has four DC output ports, each capable of providing 8.5 watts of rated power, and the output voltage is adjustable from 24 to 48 VDC.
In addition, the 1797-PS1E is IP65 rated for Zone 1 and Zone 22 installations and is able to operate stably in ambient temperatures from -20°C to 70°C. The wire inlet and outlet of the module are sealed with M20 x 1.5 and M16 x 1.5 gland for different wire diameters, enhancing the durability and safety of the module.
Although the 1797-PS1E has been discontinued, Rockwell Automation remains committed to providing customers with quality engineering alternatives and support services. For existing users and new projects, the company recommends the use of other models of power modules as an alternative to ensure the continuous operation and future development of industrial automation systems.
