General Electric’s (GE) Fanuc brand recently launched the VMIVME-3113A-100 analog-to-digital converter module, further expanding its product line in industrial automation and data acquisition. With its high performance and high reliability, this module meets the need for accurate data acquisition in industrial automation.
The VMIVME-3113A-100 module supports 64 differential or single-ended inputs, covering a wide range of analog inputs from ±10mV to ±10V. The module can be started in automatic scanning mode without software initialization, continuously digitizes the input channel, and stores the results in a dedicated channel dual-port register. This design significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of data acquisition.
The module provides five working modes and test modes, including automatic scanning mode, random polling mode, random interrupt mode, scan polling mode and scan interrupt mode, which provides users with flexible operation options. In addition, the VMIVME-3113A-100 also supports real-time and offline built-in testing, enhancing the system’s diagnostic capabilities.
In terms of technical specifications, the VMIVME-3113A-100 offers programmable gain options ranging from 1 to 500, as well as an optional analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion range. The input impedance of the module is 5 x 10^6Ω, and the conversion rate reaches 33 kHz, which meets the needs of high-speed data acquisition. In addition, the module provides an overvoltage protection input and an optional low-pass filter to ensure signal stability and reliability.
The introduction of the VMIVME-3113A-100 module is expected to play an important role in improving the data processing capabilities of industrial automation systems, reducing operating costs and improving production efficiency. The module’s high performance and reliability make it ideal for applications such as factory automation, process control, laboratory instrumentation, machine monitoring and data acquisition.
