National Instruments (NI) today announced the introduction of the new PXIe‑2541 RF matrix switch module, further expanding its product line in the field of automated test and measurement. With its 300 MHz bandwidth and 8×12 matrix configuration, this module provides users with a high flexibility and high density solution for RF signal routing in test systems.
The partition free design of the PXIe‑2541 module allows the user to connect any row or column simultaneously within the matrix, which significantly increases the flexibility of the test system. The isolation relay on the module is able to disconnect unused parts to maintain high RF performance and isolation, which is essential to ensure signal integrity and system performance.
The module’s density and bandwidth make it ideal for routing signals between digitizers, function generators, and other RF generators and analyzers. For applications that require more channels, users can create larger 8×24, 8×36, or larger switch matrices by connecting multiple PXIE-2541 modules to meet the needs of larger test systems.
The introduction of the PXIE-2541 module is expected to play an important role in improving test efficiency, reducing system complexity, and improving signal routing flexibility. The module’s high performance and reliability make it ideal for applications such as industrial automation, aerospace, communications and semiconductor testing.
