Honeywell today announced the introduction of its latest quad-core processor module, the FC-QPP-0002, further enhancing its product line in industrial automation and control. With its high performance and reliability, the module meets the demands of harsh industrial environments and is particularly suitable for critical process control applications such as petroleum refining, chemicals, power and building automation.
The FC-QPP-0002 module is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor, equipped with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB eMMC storage, ensuring powerful data processing and storage capabilities. The module design takes into account the harsh conditions of the industrial site and is capable of stable operation in the operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C, while the IP65 protection rating makes it excellent in dust and water resistance.
The module supports a variety of communication interfaces, including Ethernet, RS232, RS485 and USB, for easy data exchange and integration with other devices and systems. In addition, the FC-QPP-0002 also supports a variety of control functions, such as PID control, on/off control, slope/dip control, etc., as well as high/low alarm limits and setpoint control, providing users with flexible configuration options.
The introduction of Honeywell’s FC-QPP-0002 quad-core processor module not only improves the performance of industrial control systems, but also brings greater reliability and flexibility to industrial automation. This module is expected to play an important role in increasing production efficiency, reducing operating costs and improving system performance.
