Emerson today announced the introduction of its new industrial automation product, the CSI3120, model number A3120/022-000. Designed for small and low-channel applications, this two-channel bearing vibration monitor is suitable for small steam, gas and hydraulic turbines, as well as equipment such as compressors, pumps and fans to measure bearing vibration signals. The launch of the monitor further enriches Emerson’s product line in industrial automation and is expected to play an important role in improving the performance and reliability of industrial control systems.
The CSI3120’s measurement Settings, alarms, and supplied outputs can all be configured in the field via software, providing great flexibility and convenience. It uses a type PR9268 seismic sensor with a freely selectable measurement range ranging from a high-pass filter of 5/10/15 Hz to a low-pass filter of 50 to 1500 Hz. In addition, the monitor has an IP65 protection rating and is capable of stable operation in the temperature range of -20 to 65°C, meeting CE agency rating standards.
In terms of technical parameters, the CSI3120 provides highly accurate measurement performance, including speed measurement ranges from 0.1 rpm to 20,000 rpm and vibration measurement ranges from 0.001 g to 10.0 g, with measurement accuracy of ±0.5% and ±5%, respectively. Sampling frequencies range from 256 Hz to 16,384 Hz, output interfaces include 4-20 mA and RS-485, and power requirements are 24 VDC.
The launch of this monitor not only demonstrates Emerson’s innovative capabilities in industrial automation, but also demonstrates its rapid response to market demand. With the continuous advancement of Industry 4.0 and intelligent manufacturing, CSI3120 is expected to be widely recognized and applied in the global industrial automation market, bringing new technological innovations and production efficiency improvements to related industries.
