GE Fanuc Automation recently introduced a high-performance VMEbus module, the VMIVME-4140, which is designed for industrial control systems and supports a wide range of functions. These include digital input/output (DIO), analog input/output (AI/AO), serial communication, and pulse width modulation (PWM). The launch of the VMIVME-4140 module marks another technological advance in the field of industrial automation in terms of data processing and communication capabilities.
The VMIVME-4140 module has 32 analog output channels, each equipped with A 12-bit D/A converter (DAC) to provide high-precision analog signal output. The module supports an output impedance of 0.8Ω and has the ability to update both randomly and synchronously software or external dual-buffered outputs. In addition, the module also has an automatic calibration function, which can be activated by system reset or software commands to ensure the accuracy of the output signal.
Designed with the harsh conditions of the industrial environment in mind, the module has a robust construction and a high level of protection, capable of stable operation over the operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The VMIVME-4140 module has a wide range of applications, including process control, machine control, test and measurement, and data acquisition.
GE Fanuc Automation has always been committed to providing innovative solutions for the field of industrial automation, and the launch of the VMIVME-4140 module once again proves its technical strength in the field of automation and its deep understanding of customer needs. With the deepening of Industry 4.0, GE Fanuc Automation will continue to work with customers to explore the future of intelligent manufacturing and provide customers with more efficient and reliable solutions.
