General Electric (GE) today announced the general availability of its core analog input/output (I/O) module, the IS220PCLAH1A, a high-performance solution designed for the Mark VIe family of distributed control systems (DCS), particularly for control and signal processing of aviation-derived gas turbines.
The IS220PCLAH1A module provides eight channel analog inputs and four channel analog outputs to meet the needs of a wide range of analog measurement and control applications with its superior performance and cost effectiveness. The module is designed with triple redundancy to ensure system reliability and stability, which is critical for complex manufacturing processes and demanding controller needs.
In terms of technical specifications, the IS220PCLAH1A module has an operating temperature range of -30 to 65 degrees Celsius, a power input voltage of 28 V DC, and a maximum power consumption of 19.8 watts. The module supports -24 volts DC power supply with 12 mA load per sensor. In addition, the module goes through functional verification testing (FVT) at the factory to ensure its reliable performance.
The IS220PCLAH1A module measures 3.25 “high x 1.65” wide x 4.78 “deep and features A 16-bit A/D converter resolution that provides accurate analog signal processing. The front panel of the module is equipped with multiple LED diagnostic indicators to display various fault conditions for easy maintenance and troubleshooting.
The module is widely used in power, petroleum, mine lifting, port, heating, gas, water supply, sewage treatment, metallurgy, paper making, textile, chemical and water conservancy and other modern industrial fields. These fields often require high-precision, high-reliability analog input/output devices to monitor and control various process parameters.
