(” Meizhi Precision “) and Guangdong Weiling Electric Machine Manufacturing Co., LTD. (” Weiling Electric Machine “) are listed among them and awarded the national “Green Factory”. This selection is a full recognition of GMCC & Welling actively playing a leading role in energy conservation and carbon reduction, building a green manufacturing benchmark factory, and helping the industry achieve green development.
“The 14th Five-Year Plan for Industrial Green Development” proposes to comprehensively improve the level of green manufacturing and help industrial sectors achieve the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. Green factories are the core support of green manufacturing system. Under the guidance of the Group’s “green strategy”, GMCC & Welling is a pioneer in integrating green management in all aspects of the whole life cycle, such as design, procurement, production and recycling. At the same time, GMCC & Welling leads the upstream and downstream partners to go green and low-carbon together, and creates a green manufacturing management system and management mode, including green factories, green products and green supply chains.
Green production provides green products and services throughout the whole life cycle
GMCC & Welling penetrates the concept of high efficiency, green, recycling and low carbon into the whole life cycle process of technology research and development, product design, raw material selection, manufacturing and customer service to enhance the advanced nature of products and environmental friendly level, and is committed to green production. For example, in the aspect of raw materials harmless, Weiling motor has carried out a lot of work in the replacement of toxic and harmful materials, material saving optimization, material recycling, such as the use of environmental protection water-based paint a large proportion of oily paint, about 10.2 tons of VOCS emissions per year, reduce paint slag about 4 tons.
In terms of creating green products, Meizhi Precision introduces the concept of ecological design, highlighting the characteristics of high energy efficiency, good environmental protection and safety, high resource utilization rate, light weight and miniaturization of products, easy disassembly, easy recycling and reusable products. The research achievements include the rotary variable frequency variable volume air injection enthalpy all-round coupling compressor technology, which has been applied to domestic air conditioning, commercial air conditioning, heat pump hot water and other fields, achieving high APF energy efficiency, high heating capacity, rapid cooling and heating, ultra-low temperature silence and other effects, and has been realized in mass production. R290 rotary compressor is independently developed by Meizhi with core independent intellectual property rights. R290 environmental refrigerant is adopted to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote the sustainable development of HVAC refrigeration industry. Weiling Motor actively promotes the production of green energy-saving motors, and has developed a new generation of ultra-efficient air conditioning BLDC motor, ultra-efficient commercial air conditioning BLDC motor and other series of low-carbon energy-saving motor products, among which the high-performance brushless DC motor has been certified as a low-carbon product.
In the production process, GMCC & Welling actively promotes intelligent manufacturing, using automatic devices to improve the qualified rate of products, product quality and raw material utilization, so as to reduce the generation of waste products, and strive to control and reduce the impact of pollutants on the surrounding environment. Combined with digital and intelligent technology, it can realize the interconnection of process and equipment and improve production efficiency. Weiling Motor was awarded the title of “First-class Digital Intelligent Demonstration Factory” by Foshan Bureau of Industry and Information Technology with its leading digital and intelligent capabilities. At the same time, as for the waste generated in the process of production and operation, Weiling Motor strictly complies with the relevant regulations on the management of hazardous waste, and hands it over to qualified units for treatment and disposal, so as to reduce the impact of solid and gas waste on the environment to a low level.
Deploy green energy and smart energy management to accurately reduce carbon and improve efficiency
Energy is the key to green production. GMCC & Welling mainly focuses on three aspects: from the source, deployment of clean energy, using natural gas, solar low-carbon clean energy. Meizhi Precision has a photovoltaic power station in its factory area, generating electricity for 1017.86 hours in 2021, generating 986,600 kWh. Meanwhile, smart micro-grid has been built to improve the overall efficiency of the photovoltaic power station. Weiling Electric has installed the distributed photovoltaic power generation system, and has planned the second and third phase photovoltaic projects. After the completion of the overall project, the annual power generation is expected to reach 5,026,600 KWH, which can reduce about 3,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
Secondly, we should comprehensively improve the level of intelligent energy management, realize online monitoring and collection of energy consumption data, and effectively improve energy efficiency. Meizhi Precision has initially established an energy management system to monitor and collect real-time data in output, air compressor, central air conditioning system, etc. Through intelligent energy consumption monitoring platform, Weiling monitors, calculates and controls the power consumption situation and large equipment in various power consumption areas, finds anomalies in time and responds quickly to reduce energy waste. At the same time, the monthly maintenance and maintenance of the equipment to ensure the normal operation of production, the establishment of the control of running, bubbling, dripping, leakage phenomenon. Energy management platform data of Meizi Precision and Welling Motor can be synchronously connected to the carbon platform, and monthly statistical analysis of the carbon emissions of each workshop can provide data support for the implementation of the “two-carbon” strategy.
In addition, equipment optimization, waste heat optimization and other energy-saving measures to reduce energy consumption. For example, the magnetic levitation chiller used by Weiling Motor is a first-class energy-saving product, and the air compressor system makes full use of the waste heat.
