On May 18, 2023, the 3rd Global Rail Transit Industrial Innovation Summit was held in Qingdao under the guidance of Rail Transit Safety Technology Professional Committee of China Transport Association and Qingdao Metro Group, co-sponsored by China Mechanical Engineering Magazine and Shanghai Shiyan Management Consulting Co., LTD., and co-organized by Qingdao Urban Rail Transit Technology Co., LTD. It comes to a close on May 19!
With the theme of “Innovation-driven Industrial Upgrading: Efficient, intelligent and green”, the summit invited relevant authorities of rail transit equipment industry, vehicle and key parts manufacturing enterprises, track owners, etc., to discuss vehicle and electromechanical system equipment technology, safety monitoring and testing, intelligent operation and maintenance, and actively promote the efficient, intelligent and green development of rail transit.
On the morning of May 18, Mr. Zhu Eryu, director of straddle Monorail Research and Development Center of Beijing Jiaotong University and vice president of International Monorail Association, announced the start of the conference as the chairman. Wang Shouhui, vice president of Qingdao Metro Group Co., LTD., and Zhang Yuejin, Secretary general of Rail Transit Safety Technical Committee of China Transport Association, delivered the opening speech.
Then the conference officially began. First of all, Luo Yiping, deputy chief engineer of Qingdao Metro Group Co., Ltd. shared “Some thoughts on urban rail transit innovation”; Zhu Eryu, Director of Straddle Monorail Research and Development Center of Beijing Jiaotong University and Vice President of International Monorail Association, discussed “Innovation and development of multi-system rail transit system”. Wang Wei, deputy director of Technology Center of CRRC Puzhen Vehicle Co., LTD., delivered a keynote speech on “Development direction and Type Selection of Municipal train Technology”. After a short tea break, there was a roundtable discussion with the theme of “Innovation-driven Efficient, intelligent and Green development of rail transit”. Around the “green and smart rail transit construction status and innovation achievements”, “low and medium volume rail transit development planning and prospects”, “equipment technology transformation and upgrading to make rail transit more efficient, greener and safer”, “How to see rail transit development from the perspective of the whole industrial chain” and other topics, Panelists Zhu Eryu, Luo Qingping and Geng Ming, deputy chief engineer of Mechanical Power Design and Research Institute of China Railway Fourth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. shared their views with the participants.
