Kuka East China Manufacturing Base in Kunshan City, Suzhou was officially put into operation in April this year. The base covers an area of about 43,000 square meters and has successfully realized the strategic transformation of domestic production.

Kuka East China Manufacturing Base is located in a superior geographical location, the new factory is located in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, the surrounding highway network is connected in all directions, close to Changjia Highway and Shenhai Highway, 45 minutes from the downtown of Shanghai, 1 to 2 hours to the main cities of the Yangtze River Delta, convenient transportation environment is one of the characteristics of the manufacturing center.

The base is a collection of Kuka China’s three business segments: Kuka Industrial Automation, Riska Logistics, Riska Medical, covering the office building, machining workshop, digital display area, assembly and test workshop, warehouse, receiving and shipping area and other core functional areas.

Kuka Industrial automation business covers automotive, auto parts, electronics, heavy industry, animal husbandry and consumer goods and medical fields, the factory produces finishing parts, ground rail, transformer series products, but also for laser applications, welding and cutting, casting, handling, coating, photovoltaic modules and other applications to provide a full range of robot automation system solutions. Rishi Gewuliu East China Manufacturing base started the localized production of ProMove pallet conveyor in 2009, and by 2021, it has delivered more than 300 projects in more than 31 countries, providing conveyor products with a total length of more than 100,000 meters. The facility is also responsible for the production of the UniStore palletizer family, with an annual capacity of 500 palletizing machines, in order to leverage a strong supply chain to provide reliable equipment delivery and technical support to customers around the world.
