On the afternoon of June 14, 2023 Siemens Digital Economy Forum Intelligent Infrastructure Group special conference was held in Beijing. Siemens China Intelligent Infrastructure Group management and team representatives met with dozens of customers and partners from across the country to talk about how to accelerate the low-carbon transformation of industrial digitalization, how to build an ecosystem and how to achieve value co-creation.
Lin Bin, general manager of Siemens’ Intelligent Infrastructure Group in Greater China, said that corporate sustainability means continuous improvement and improvement in energy supply, distribution infrastructure and factory park operations. The Siemens Intelligent Infrastructure Group provides customers with digital low-carbon transformation solutions covering the entire energy chain to help customers achieve carbon neutrality throughout the energy chain.
Yu Yue, Director of Digital Empowerment Center of Siemens China Intelligent Infrastructure Group, explained how Siemens provides customers with stable and reliable power distribution infrastructure, on the one hand, the comprehensive energy optimization scheduling on the supply side to achieve multi-energy complementary, on the other hand, through the intelligent upgrade of the demand side to achieve energy saving and consumption reduction, so as to create an energy carbon management system that can cover the source network load storage and charge.
Ye Feng, chairman of RAND Group, said in his share that integration and coordinated development is the main tone of the world, and iterative innovation is an inexhaustible driving force for development. The comprehensive and in-depth cooperation between RAND Group and Siemens on digital transformation, green and low-carbon reflects the integration of industry and technology and innovative development. The two sides will continue to promote the process of industrial digitalization, the construction of advanced manufacturing clusters and the sustainable development of integrated industry and city, and set an industry benchmark for zero-carbon parks.
At the same time, under the topic of building a new power system and promoting the low-carbon transformation of energy, Cheng Gang, technical director of Kui De Tianxia Technology Development (Beijing) Company, introduced the Smart ECX, a carbon management platform of Siemens. The two sides jointly established the “integrated management platform for optical storage, direct and flexible” for the Global Power Supply Service Center of Beijing Tongzhou Power Supply Company (Beijing Tongzhou Global Power Supply Demonstration Project), realized the information and intelligent management of the whole process of building power supply and electricity equipment, and promoted the quality and efficiency of the “optical storage, direct and flexible” work.
When it comes to corporate social responsibility and corporate governance that drive digitalization and sustainability, Mr. Ye Lei, Head of Maintenance and Technology in Greater China of Siemens Real Estate Asset Management, discussed the company’s goals and values – contributing to the sustainable development of China – from the perspective of carbon reduction throughout the life cycle of real estate assets and environmental protection (environmental social responsibility and governance) related to real estate assets and supply chains, “combined with Siemens’ own products and solutions.”
In addition, a group of guests visited the Siemens Digital and Low-Carbon Experience Center to further understand and experience Siemens’ digital and low-carbon solutions in the field of intelligent infrastructure in a more three-dimensional, intuitive and multi-dimensional interactive way.
