On May 18, the robot industry event – the 13th China International Robot Summit Forum and the 9th Chapek Award Ceremony was successfully concluded in Wuhu, Anhui Province. On the same day, the conference set up theme forums around industrial robots, medical robots, collaborative robots and the National College Robot production and Education Integration Development Forum and the National College Robot Dean Forum, and held the “ninth Capek Award Ceremony” in the evening.
The Capek Award ceremony is an annual grand festival for the robot industry, hosted by the China Mechatronics Technology Application Association. Since its establishment in 2014, it has gone through nine years. The Capek Prize, named after Czech science fiction writer Karel Capek, who coined the term robot, was created in 2014. Reward organizations and individuals who have made contributions in the field of robotics, aiming at being witnesses to the development of the robot industry and creating a “Noble” in the robot industry.
There were more than 800 participants at the conference, and the atmosphere was unprecedentedly high. With diversified solutions and rich experience in the field of robotics, SICK won the 9th Capek Annual Brand Excellence Award, fully demonstrating the strength of the company.
