The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) announced on the 15th that it will jointly establish the Global Industrial and Manufacturing Artificial Intelligence Alliance with Huawei and other international enterprises in July this year, committed to building a platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing, promoting the innovation and application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of industry and manufacturing, and promoting the development of the digital economy.
On the same day at the European Smart Rail Hub Digital Transformation Forum held in Fereshlitkai, Hungary, Zou Xanyong, Deputy Director-General and Executive Director of UNIDO, said in a video address that the Global Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Industry and Manufacturing will be officially launched in July, which aims to promote the research and development of artificial intelligence technologies in industry and manufacturing. Develop and promote the ethics of artificial intelligence in industry and manufacturing, and provide policy advice on artificial intelligence to governments and international organizations.
Farouh Aliimjanov, Industrial Development Officer of UNIDO, said at the forum that the Global Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Industry and Manufacturing will work to make more people see the role of artificial intelligence technology in improving the competitiveness, efficiency and inclusiveness of industrial and economic activities, and Huawei has provided strong support for the establishment of the alliance.
Radoslaw Kenzia, vice president of Huawei Northeast Europe, said the company will use its technology, research and development capabilities and experience to ensure that artificial intelligence will benefit humanity.
