128240-01 is a Proximitor/Seismic Monitor I/O Module designed and developed by Bently Nevada. It is a part of the 3500/42M Proximitor Seismic Monitoring system. The four-channel Seismic Monitor receives data from proximity and seismic transducers. It processes the signal to produce vibration and location measurements, compares the processed signals with user-programmable alarms, and conditions the processed signals. Radial vibration, REBAM, thrust position, acceleration, differential expansion, shaft absolute, eccentricity, circular acceptance region, and velocity may all be programmed onto each channel utilizing the 3500 Rack Configuration Software.
128240-01 Features
- The Proximitor/Seismic Monitor’s primary function is to provide machinery protection by continuously comparing monitored parameters against configured alarm setpoints to drive alarms and essential machine information for both operations and maintenance personnel.
- Depending on the configuration, each channel typically conditions its input signal to generate various parameters known as static values. You can set alert and danger setpoints for each active static value, as well as alert and danger setpoints for any two active static values.

Alarms
Alarm Setpoints
Set alarm levels for any value measured by the monitor and danger setpoints for any two of the values measured by the monitor using Rack Configuration Software. For each measured value, alarms can be set from 0 to 100% of full-scale. When the full-scale range exceeds the transducer’s range, the transducer’s range limits the setpoint.
