A fault action called Phase Loss has been added for the Kinetix 6000 and Kinetix 2000 drives. This addition allows configuration of the fault action during a phase loss situation. The configurable fault actions are Shutdown (default), Disable Drive, Stop Motion, and Status Only.
When the Phase Loss fault group is configured as Status Only, Logix5000 motion commands continue and the drive uses available stored dc bus energy to operate axes. This attribute cannot be set via an SSV. The 1756-L63 is a Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) from Allen-Bradley. This controller is part of the earlier Logix controller version which is specifically part of the 5560 product series. This controller comes with an RS232 Serial communication interface as the primary communication port, however, this controller supports other communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Data Highway Plus, Remote I/O, SynchLink and other 3rd party communication protols by installing Allen-Bradley communication adapters and encompass partner modules.
The 1756-L63 is a Chassis based controller. It is installed a variety of ControlLogix chassis such as 1756-A4, 1756-A7, 1756-A10, 1756-A13, and 1756-A17. It is also compatible for use with standard and redundant power supplies such as 1756-PA50, 1756-PA72, 1756-PA75, 1756-PB50, 1756-PB72, 1756-PB75 or 1756-PA75R, 1756-PB75R, 1756-PSCA2, respectively. It supports implementation of controller redundancy as well as integrated motion using Serial Real-Time Communication System (SERCOS), Analog options via encoder input, LDT input, SSI input and motion over Ethernet I/P network.

This controller comes with 8 MB user memory and I/O memory of 478 KB. It may be added with non-volatile memory storage via the 1784-CF128 only which has 128 MB memory size. For I/O interfacing, this controller supports up to 128,000 Discrete Input and Output and 4000 Analog Input and Output signals. It uses battery backed-up Random Access Memory (RAM) with battery part numbers of 1756-BA1, 1756-BATM, 1756-BATA for Series A controllers and 1756-BA2 Series B controllers.
The 1756-L63 controller has a built-in RS-132 serial communication port. The communication options available for this controller include the DeviceNet, ControlNet, EtherNet/IP, SynchLink, Remote I/O, Data Highway Plus, and third-party process and device networks. Serial port communications modules that this controller supports are the Modbus via logic, DH-485, DF1 radio modem, ASCII, and the DF1 full/half-duplex modules. The continuous isolation voltage of the 1756-L63 controller is 30 Volts and it has a basic insulation type. It has also been type-tested at 720 Volts DC for 60 seconds. It has a power dissipation of 3.5 W and a thermal dissipation of 11.9 BTU/hour. Its current draw at 5.1 Volts DC is 1200 mA and its current draw at 24 Volts DC is 14 mA. It has a vibration of 2 g at 10 to 500 Hertz. The 1756-L63 controller has an operating shock of 30 g and a non-operating shock of 50 g. It also has an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and a non-operating temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. It also has a maximum surrounding air temperature of 60 degrees Celsius.
