1756-L75K 1756 ControlLogix Controllers
The Allen-Bradley 1756-L72 is a ControlLogix series programmable automation controller (PAC). It has 4 MB of user memory and 0.98 MB of I/O memory for data and logic. The controller comes with a 1 GB SD card 1784-SD1, which can be used as optional non-volatile memory storage. If the storage space is not enough for you, you can also upgrade it to 2 GB with the 1784-SD2 card. It is recommended to install SD cards to the controller and only use SD cards sold by Rockwell Automation, as these cards have been thoroughly tested to work with the controller. Using other SD cards carries the risk of data loss or corruption. The SD card is mainly used to store diagnostic data that is automatically written when a fault occurs. Rockwell Automation uses this data for troubleshooting purposes. The 1756-L72 controller is also equipped with three capacitive energy storage modules. The 1756-ESMCAP/1756-ESMCAPK is a detachable module available in each controller. Another removable module is the 1756-ESMNSE / 1756-ESMNSEK, which has no remaining WallClockTime power backup. The only non-detachable module is the 1756-ESMNRM/1756-ESMNRMK, which helps prevent USB connections and the use of SD cards to help protect the controller. You can use the 1756-L72 controller with specific modules to create the armor control Logix controller. When paired with similar controllers and in the same ControlNet network, it can support controller redundancy. The ControlLogix chassis compatible with this controller are 1756-A4, 1756-A4K, 1756-A7, 1756-A7K, 1756-A10, 1756-A10K, 1756-A13, 1756-A13K, 1756-A17, and 1756-A17K. It also has a full speed USB 2.0 port and a 4-character alphanumeric display for you to view its current status. The 1756-L72 controller offers a variety of communication options, including Data Highway Plus, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Remote I/O, SynchLink, ControlNet, and third-party process and device networking. The controller has a continuous isolation voltage of 30 volts and was type-tested for 60 seconds at 500 volts AC. Its current consumption is 5 mA at 1.2 volts DC and 800 mA at 5.1 volts DC. The 1756-L72 controller has a power consumption of 2.5 watts and a heat dissipation of 8.5 BTU/ hour. The controller has a storage temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius, while its operating temperature range is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. It has a vibration of 2 G at 10 to 500 Hz, a working shock of 30 G and a non-working shock of 50 G.
