1756-OF6CI Allen-Bradley Isoloated Analog Output Module with current loop
It has a range of 0 to 20 milliamps with a low signal and user counts of 0 milliamps and -32768 counts and a high signal and user counts of 21.074 milliamps with 32767 counts. The current draw of this module at 5.1V is 250 milliamps from 0 to 550 ohms terminated on the OUTs and RTNs and 551 to 1000 ohms terminated on the OUTs and ALTs. At 24V, its current draw is 225 milliamps for 0 to 550 ohms terminated on the OUTs and RTNs and 300 milliamps for 551 to 1000 ohms terminated on OUTs and ALTs. It has a total backplane power of 6.7 W for 0 to 550 ohms and 8.5 W for 551 to 1000 ohms. The module has a maximum power dissipation of 5.5 W for 0 to 550 ohms loads and 6.1 W for 551 to 1000 ohms loads. It does not have open circuit detection but it does have a 24V DC overvoltage protection and a short circuit protection that is limited to 21 milliamps or less. Routine tested at 1350V AC for 2 s, its continuous isolation voltage is 250V.
The 1756-OF6CI module has a maximum module scan time of 10 ms for the integer format and 25 ms for floating point format with a module error of 0.6% of the range. Its settling time is less than 2 ms to 95% of final value with resistive loads, a calibration interval of 6 months, and a calibrated accuracy of better than 0.1% of 4 to 21 milliamps at 25 Degrees Celsius. The nominal gain drift with temperature is 60 ppm per Degree Celsius and the maximum gain drift with temperature is 100 ppm per Degree Celsius.
