The 1770-XYC is an Allen-Bradley PLC 5 Lithium Battery. This battery assembly contains a Panasonic Lithium Battery Cell that has the part number “BR-A”; this assembly is used for PLC-5 processors. With a nominal input voltage of 120 to 240 Volts AC, the 1770-XYC is an efficient and reliable battery. The PLC-5 processor has an input voltage range of 105 to 225 Volts AC, or from 205 to 250 Volts AC. The PLC-5 processor’s maximum input power of 20 Watts is provided by the 1770-XYC battery. This 1770-XYC lithium battery contains 0.65 grams of lithium.
The average lifetime of this product at 60 degrees Celsius is 115 days for 100% power off and 200 days for 50% power off; for 25 degrees Celsius, the average lifetime is one year for 100% power off and 1.2 years for 50% power off. The built-in battery indicator conveniently warns the user when the battery runs low. The maximum real input power for the 1770-XYC is 20 Watts, and the maximum apparent input power is 37 VA.
