This option adapter module has embedded switches for setting the IP addresses. It is also compatible with the stand-alone tool BOOTP-DHCP. Status indicators are also provided for monitoring the module’s operation.

The 20-750-ENETR environmental specifications include an operating temperature of -10…+50 °C (14…122 °F). If this module is intended to serve as backup, thus a spare module, storage temperature requirement is -40…+85 °C (-40…+185 °F). Both environments shall have 5…95% noncondensing.

The Allen-Bradley 20-750-ENETR module and the entire series of PowerFlex 755 modules come preinstalled with predictive diagnostics and DeviceLogix control technology. Other features of these drives include an Ethernet port that is designed for communication. The PowerFlex 755 drives are designed to be used to control permanent magnet motors. However, they also require proper configuration so that they can offer adequate protection against operations that are not stable by using CM or Power jumpers to help select between solid and non-solid grounds. It has four status indicators which show the mode of operation and network communication.

The 20-750-ENETR module also has Node address switches that set the network node address of the option module. Additional features of the 20-750-ENETR module include an operating mode jumper that selects the mode of operation for the module as well as the ENET1 and ENET2 network ports which help with the transfer of data on the 100Base-TX Ethernet connections.
