The 2080-LC50-24QWB Micro850 24 Point Controller by Allen-Bradley is an expandable brick modeled controller with 14 embedded inputs and 10 embedded outputs, up to 3 plugin modules, and it is designed specifically for low-budget, stand-alone machines. It has 14, 24V sink/source (high-speed) input circuits, with 10 relay outputs, and a Class 2 input voltage range of 20.4-26.4V DC, with 28W maximum power consumption. The controller provides 250V AC isolation voltage between outputs to Aux, and between network inputs to output, tested at 3250V DC for 60s, using the reinforced insulation type. It has C300, and R150 pilot duty rating, with 7mm (0.28in) insulation strip length, and it is enclosed in an IP20-rated enclosure. The Allen-Bradley 2080-LC50-24QWB is a Micro 850 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). This controller is part of the modern PLC product range of Allen-Bradley that is ideally used in micro or small applications. This PLC is especially popular with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) due to its small, scalable hardware yet advanced features and highly cost-effective.

 

The 2080-LC50-24QWB is a compact PLC that comes with a complete set of components such as Power Supply, Processor, I/O and communication interfaces. The built-in power supply to this PLC is a 24 Volt DC power supply. The embedded I/O interfaces includes fourteen (14) inputs, ten (10) relay outputs and four (4) 100 kHz high-speed counter inputs. This controller supports expansion of up to 3 modules.

 

It supports up to 10K program steps or instructions and is capable of handling up to 20K bytes of data. This controller may be programmed using the IEC 61131-3 defined standard languages such as Ladder Diagram (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Structure Text (ST).
