The Allen-Bradley 2093-AC05-MP5 is a Kinetix 2000 Integrated Axis module (IAM). This module is a 200 V class module with input voltage range of 170-264 VAC, 3-phase along an input frequency of 47-63 Hz. It has an input current requirement of 11.66 (nominal) and maximum inrush current of 34.0 A.
Output characteristics of the 2093-AC05-MP5 Integrated Axis Module includes 325 VDC bus output voltage; 9.67 A continuous output current to bus; 19.34 A intermittent output current to bus; continuous output power to bus of 3.0 kW and Peak output power to bus of 6.0 kW. It has an efficiency of 95%. The 2093-AC05-MP5 detects bus overvoltage at 425 VDC while bus undervoltage @ 137.5 VDC.
The 2093-AC05-MP5 being an Integrated Axis Module (IAM) is installed at the left most of the power rail. Succeeding or adjacent modules must be such as the axis module, shunt module, slot filler and other modules are installed by determining the level of Power utilization or Current rating.
The 2093-AC05-MP5 front panel is installed with a variety of components. It has a variety of terminal strips such as Contactor Enable (CED) Connector; Control Power (CPD) Connector; Main Power (IPD) Connector; Motor Brake (BC) Connector; Motor Power (MP) Connector; I/O and Machine Feedback (IOD/AF) Connector and Motor Feedback (MF) Connector. It also has LED status indicators specifically, Drive Status LED, COMM Status LED and Bus Status LED along a Seven Segment Fault Status Display.

2093-AC05-MP5 Allen-Bradley Integrated Axis Module
Serial Real-Time Communication System (SERCOS) connector is situated on top of the module. SERCOS Receive (Rx) Connector and SERCOS Transmit (Tx) Connector are sitting beside each other while SERCOS baud rate and optical power switches and SERCOS node switches are located beside the 7-segment display.
The 2093-AC05-MP5 is an integrated axis module with Input voltage range of 170- 264VAC rms, input Frequency range of 47-63 Hz, Input Voltage, dc (common bus follower) of 240V-375 VDC Input current, dc (common bus follower) of 6.42 A Three-phase power input, nominal Bus output voltage of 325Vdc with a Continuous Power Output to bus of 3.0KW, Peak power output of 6.0KW, Efficiency of 95%, and a Converter Capacitance of 540 NF. The 2093-AC05-MP5 comes with an IAM Inverter power, with a bandwidth velocity loop of 500Hz which is similar to most of the 2093 IAM series, and a Nominal Input Voltage of 325V dc, a Continuous Current (rms) of 3.0 A which is higher the MP1 and MP2, in the series. With a Peak current (rms of 6.0 A and Peak output current time, max of 3 s from 0% drive utilization (0% soak). It has an Efficiency of 98% like other products in the series and also the same Capacitance of 200 NF, and Capacitive Energy Absorption of 7.5 J like the rest of the MP series.
