2094-BC04-M03-S Kinetix 6000 drive system module

The 2094-BC04-M03-S is a Kinetix 6000 drive system module, also known as the AM power module, manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is designed as an integrated shaft module for a frequency converter. The module’s rated output power varies with the percentage of load, from 53 watts at 20% load to 142 watts at 100% load. It includes a converter section with a rated output power of 28 kW, and an inverter section with a rated current of 30 amps.

The module is equipped with wiring plug connectors for motor power supply (MP) and motor/resistance brake power supply (BC). However, it does not provide a connector kit for certain input and output interfaces, safety and auxiliary feedback signals, and motor feedback. Grounding jumper Settings may be required when using this module, especially in ungrounded or high-impedance power supply configurations. The module is set to the grounded position by default, where P16 and P17 are short-circuited, while the ungrounded configuration shorts the P18 and P19 terminals.

When installing, the integrated shaft module (IAM) must be installed on the far left side of the power rail, and other modules must be located on the right side of the IAM. The module is designed to provide Kinetix integrated motion solutions for drive, motor and actuator applications. It has a safe torque off function for 200V or 400V class AC input power supply and contains an inverter and converter section. For 400V class (B and C series) IAM modules, peak enhancement is also available.
