Essential details:2094-BM02-S/C Allen Bradley Kinetix 6000 Multi-Axis Drive Servo system
The Allen-Bradley 2094-BM02-S is a multi-axis module that is a component product of the Kinetix 6000 Multi-Axis Drive Servo system. This module comes with an integrated Safe-Torque Off (STO) safety functionality that can be applied for applications that require up to Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 and Performance Level (PLe). This axis module is a single wide module that supports up to Seven (7) for each 8-axis power rail.
The 2094-BM02-S supports bandwidth velocity loop frequency of 500 Hz and Current loop frequency of 1300 Hz with Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) frequency of 4 kHz. The nominal input voltage of this axis module is 650VDC with continuous current requirement (rms) of 10.3 Amperes and continuous Current (sine) 0-pk of 14.6 Amperes.
With peak enhancement, this axis module may be used in applications that require fast acceleration and deceleration. The 2094-BM02-S has 150% standard peak inverter current rating and significantly increases up to 250% when peak enhanced.
The 2094-BM02-S has a continuous current (rms) of 10.3 Amperes and continuous current (sine) 0-pk of 14.6 Amperes with efficiency of 98% and 200,000 Ampere (rms) symmetrical, short circuit current rating. This axis module has a 115 Ohm internal shunt resistor with internal shunt continuous power of 50 Watts and peak power of 5.6 kWatts.

2094-BM02-S/C Allen Bradley Kinetix 6000 Multi-Axis Drive Servo system
Prior to the installation of the Allen-Bradley 2094-BM02-S multi-axis servo drive, clearances should be made around the top and the bottom of the drive in order to allow proper airflow. This is important in order to guarantee smooth operations and prevent overheating. Its installation cabinet depth must be a minimum of 10.7 inches. If the drive is going to be installed in a cabinet, this cabinet should be tall enough to fit the drive and enable it to have a ventilation mechanism from an external cooling system.
If the Allen-Bradley 2094-BM02-S multi-axis servo drive is going to be installed in an enclosure, its unshielded cables must be kept as short as possible and the shunt power cables must be separated from sensitive cables. The Allen-Bradley 2094-BM02-S multi-axis servo drive must be used with circuit protection. The use of a circuit breaker or a fuse might help to maintain the drive in good condition since it prevents the occurrence of short circuit. In the event of fault, the power-transistor control signal is disabled, removing motor torque without shutting down the entire 2094-BM02-S drive. This reduces production and energy waste and minimizes downtime. Once the Allen-Bradley 2094-BM02-S multi-axis servo drive has been programmed, it must be tested multiple times in order to ensure that it has the correct and proper configuration and to guarantee that the programming process has been achieved successfully.
