The 22C-D038A103 AC Powerflex 400 Drive by Allen Bradley has an output rating of 18.5 kW at 25 Horsepower, with an Amperage of 38, consistent over a 5-degree temperature change between 45 and 50 degrees Celsius. Use of this system can result in up to a 400% output, where the drive-controlled motor and all three of the additional motors are operating at their maximum speeds. This system can also be automated, causing the additional motors to begin operating as soon as demand increases beyond the capabilities of the first motor.

This Serial (RS485) drive supports FLN, DSI, Modbus RTU and Metasys N2 as standard communication protocols. It also supports several optional protocols, including ControlNet, LonWorks, Ethernet/IP and Device Net.
The 22C-D088A103 is applicable for AC motors rated 18.5kW or 25.0 HP. The input voltage requirement of this adjustable frequency AC drive is 340-528VAC, 3-Phase, input current of 40 Amperes and frequency range of 48-63 Hz. This drive supports panel mounting application within an enclosure that provides adequate protection from common contaminants such as corrosive air or gas, water, dust, oil and grease. This drive also requires external protection devices such as DC link chokes, EMC filters, AC line reactors, Harmonic filters, fuse and other electrical protection devices to maximize the drive’s operation lifespan.
Specifically, the recommended Allen-Bradley Filter for the 22C-D088A103 has a catalog number of 22-RFD100 with motor cable connection not exceeding 50 meters. Applicable fuse rating is 125 Amperes, while recommended motor contactor is 100-D110.
The 22C-D088A103 may be configured and operated using the embedded keypad and LCD readout that comes along with the drive. Remote mounted and remote handheld Human Interface Module (HIM) may also be installed with the drive to allow convenient configuration and operation means.
