The 2771P-K4M20A is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) device that is part of Allen-Bradley’s Visualization components. The available operator interface to this HMI is an assembly of keypad buttons that is comprised of function keys, navigation, numeric, and confirmation buttons. Only the functions keys of the 2771P-K4M20A are fully-programmable and may accept varying assignments in reference to the active window for operational flexibility. It has a 3.5-inch grayscale display, with a display area of 77 x 58 millimeters (3.0 x 2.3 inches) and a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The available input interface to this operator terminal is an assembly of keypads that is composed of numeric and navigation keys as well as function keys that can be assigned with global and local functions. The keypad buttons are designed to be operated up to 1 million actuations with a recommended actuating force of 10-110 g. The 2711P-K4M20A supports Ethernet communication protocol via the RJ-45. It also has an RS-232 interface that is configurable for RS-232 and DH-485 communication. It also supports the attachment of USB devices such as keyboard, mouse, and UB flash drives. The 2711P-K4M20A supported mounting orientation is horizontal only as it does not support screen rotation. It must be flush mounted to an enclosure rated NEMA Type 12, 13, 4X (Indoor use only), IP54, IP65. It must be installed in an environment with an operating temperature of 0-55 °C (32 – 131 °F), operating shock of 15 g at 11 ms, and operating vibration of 10- 57 Hz, 0.012 pk-pk displacements 57-500 Hz and 2 g pk acceleration.
