The CPU HT bus, full name HyperTransport, is a bus technology introduced by AMD in 1999. This technology is mainly used for interconnecting integrated circuits on the motherboard to speed up data transmission between chips.

CPU HT bus (HyperTransport) is an end-to-end bus technology designed for the interconnection of integrated circuits on the motherboard, which is mainly used to speed up the data transmission speed between chips.

When HyperTransport is applied to a memory controller, it is similar to a traditional Front Side Bus (FSB), so for cpus that use HyperTransport technology for memory controllers, it is not necessary to use it. The frequency of HyperTransport is equivalent to the frequency of the front-end bus.
