489-P5-LO-A20-E is a generator management relay under the GE Multilin brand, part of the GE SR family of relays. Designed for the protection, control and monitoring of induction or synchronous generators, this relay ensures the stable operation of the generator and increases the efficiency of power generation.

Technical parameters:

Operating frequency: Capable of operating at 25Hz, 50Hz or 60Hz.
Display: A 40-character display for displaying numerical information, diagnostics, and set values.
Front panel: Equipped with numeric keypad, status indicator, value add/subtract key, RS232 port interface and reset, input, menu and other control programming keys.
Rear panel: Includes 12 RTD inputs, 6 output relays, 2 RS485 communication ports, and 4 VT inputs. RTD input is field programmable. Communication port support Modbus RTU or DNP 3.0 protocol, transmission rate up to 19200 bps.
Analog input/output: Four isolated 4-20 mA analog inputs and outputs are available, along with seven assignable digital inputs.
CT inputs: There are seven CT inputs for three-phase output/three-phase neutral line and ground current detection, as well as a separate safety and filter ground.
Anti-interference: All inputs comply with SWC, C37.990 EMI, RFI anti-interference standards.
