This unit is the 5448-890 SPM-D Synchronizers. These units are built as a synchronizer module to be integrated into a three phase, AC industrial generator system. The 5448-890 is a digital synchronizer module which is integrated with one synch point. This unit has several benefits with its installation into the system. It is able to provide a level of compatibility with a wide range of brands and types of units, such as generators, circuit breakers, and automatic voltage regulators. This unit has a true RMS voltage sensory capability to reduce the system’s susceptibility to harmonic interference. The 5448-890 is able to provide automatic matching for both frequency, voltage, and phases, utilizing either discrete or analog output bias signals.

The synchronization is able to function for up to two circuit breakers at once. The 5448-890 synchronizer is outfitted with a front facing LED synchroscope for simple efficient commissioning. The programming is in an HMI format, and is able to process USB connectivity to Woodward ToolKit service tools. This unit is outfitted with three position/analog output ports for the speed and voltage bias signals. This unit’s variables give it an intrinsic consumption at a max of 10 watts, and requires an operational power supply at 24 volts of direct current.
