The 8237-1597 ProTech-GII is a configurable overspeed detection system designed for industrial automation control systems. The system is designed to safely shut down steam, gas and hydraulic turbines of all sizes when excessive speed or over-acceleration events are detected. It has the following characteristics:

Configurability: Offers two dual redundant tripping relay outputs in a 3 out 2 voting architecture, or three separate non-voting tripping relay outputs with separate alarm relays, 4 to 20 mA speed readings, and Modbus® communication for easy integration into any turbine safety system.
High reliability: The use of high-quality electronic components and manufacturing processes, can work stably under harsh environmental conditions, to ensure the reliability and safety of the control system.
Easy integration: Provide standard communication interface, easy to integrate and communicate with other equipment, to achieve intelligent and automated industrial automation control system.
