Overspeed protection: Model 9907-147 uses magnetic pickups to monitor overspeed conditions for primer speeds. The equipment is susceptible to electromagnetic interference, vibration, moisture and operating temperatures exceeding -25 to +60°C. The overspeed protection device should be installed in a place with good ventilation, maintenance space, away from direct sunlight, and away from high current or high voltage equipment. The tripping system has a speed sensing frequency range of 100 Hz to 32 kHz and an accuracy class of ±(0.05% x tripping point at Hz +2 Hz). The overspeed detection function is performed by three independent speed sensing units that independently monitor speed and perform speed calculations. These units are in a 2-out-of-3 configuration, so prime mover trip relays occur only when at least two units detect overspeed conditions.

Power-off trip overspeed protection System: Model 9907-147 uses magnetic pickups to monitor primer speed under overspeed conditions. This family of devices is susceptible to electromagnetic interference, vibration, moisture and temperatures outside the operating temperature range of -25 to +60°C. ProTech overspeed protection models should be installed in a location that allows adequate ventilation for cooling, provides service space, is away from direct sunlight, and is away from high current or high voltage equipment. Digital Governor: With 24 Vdc power input, the 9907-147 is a steam turbine digital governor with separate RS-232 and RS-422 serial ports for 2 standard positions. The low current PWM output is a microprocessor synchronizer designed for use in three-phase alternators equipped with Woodward or other compatible speed control and automatic voltage regulators. Synchronizers provide automatic frequency, phase, and voltage matching using analog or discrete output bias signals.
