Product Description

ALP121 is a PROFIBUS-DP communication module produced by Yokogawa, which is mainly used for data communication and exchange with PROFIBUS-DP slave devices (such as fieldbus devices, PLCS, etc.).
The ALP121 module also features high-precision signal converters and high-resolution analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), supports multi-channel inputs that capture small signal changes, and supports many types of analog input signals, such as voltage, current, thermocouple, and RTD. The range of the module can be configured to meet the needs of different industrial applications, and it has flexible configuration, wide input range, reliability and durability, as well as support for common industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, etc.
The ALP121-S00 is a specific model of the ALP121 series, which supports the input of analog signals, digital signals, pulse signals, sampling rates from 1 Hz to 100 kHz, accuracy of ±0.01% FS, high reliability, MTTF (mean time between failures) greater than 100,000 hours. This module is suitable for CENTUM CS3000 control systems and can be configured with AIP830-111 for signal acquisition and analysis. The ALP121-S00 module supports all functions of the PROFIBUS-DP protocol, including I/O data transfer, communication management and diagnostics, has 12 PROFIBUS-DP stations, and supports isolation for additional protection.

Communication specifications: The PROFIBUS-DP device data is stored in the I/O image area of the communication module, and the FCS can access the communication module asynchronously and reference or set the I/O image.
Redundancy configuration: The ALP121 module is installed in the odd-numbered slot of the same node unit and the next slot (odd +1) to achieve dual redundancy for communication.
Number of connected slave devices: In a single configuration, up to 31 devices can be connected without a repeater and up to 123 devices with a repeater. In a dual redundant network configuration, the number of connections is the same as in a single configuration.
