The GE Fanuc IC200MDL241 Discrete Input Module is a 16-channel discrete input module for the Versamax I/O and control system. This 16-point input module receives signals form AC input devices and transmits them to the common for processing. Signals from pushbuttons, sensors, switches, and other input devices are received as 2-state discrete signals (on/off) and are transmitted for the CPU modules as 16 bits discrete input data for intelligent processing. The IC200MDL241 Input Module comes with a compact design that offers the same flexible and cost-effective I/O solutions that are usually found in larger PLCs. The IC200MDL241 Input Module is installed on a DIN Rail-supported I/O carrier base with snap-in terminals that help to simplify the field wiring and that support hot swapping.

The IC200MDL241 Input Module offers 16 non-isolated logic/sourcing inputs arranged in 2 groups of 8 channels each. The IC200MDL241 Input Module draws all of its power from the backplane and do not require a user-supplied power module. It draws 110.0 milliamps of maximum operating current from the backplane at 5.0 Volts. It has an operating voltage rating of 240 Volts AC (nominal) and an operating voltage range of 0 to 264 Volts AC. it also has an on state operating voltage range of 155 Volts AC to 264 Volts AC and an off state voltage range of 0 to 40 Volts AC. The IC200MDL241 Input Module has no point to point isolation, but it has 1500 Volts of maximum isolation for 1 minute between each group. The IC200MDL241 Input Module has 1 LED that indicates the backplane operation and 16 individually-labeled LEDs that indicate each input point’s status. The IC200MDL241 Input Module has approximate module dimensions of 4.3 x 2.63 x 1.9 inches.
