The IC693CPU350 is a GE Fanuc series 90-30 controller. This controller is part of the modular control system, featuring a single slot wide module and with capability to control up to up to Eight (8) baseplate, including the local baseplate where the CPU is installed.
The IC693CPU350 is designed with a non-configurable user memory of 32K Bytes. Up to 2048 Discrete Input, 2048 Discrete Output, 2048 Analog input Words and 512 Analog output words. This I/O count density qualifies this controller to be installed in medium to large applications.
The IC693CPU350 does not have a communication port. This controller utilizes the communication port installed in the power supply which his a RS485 communication interface, allowing connection to programming workstation, Hand-Held Programmer (HHP) and devices that are capable of exchanging data over RS485 communication standard. This port supports SNP/SNP-X slave protocols.
The IC693CPU350 is configured using a variety of options. It may be configured using the LogicMaster90, Control, VersaPro and CIMPLICITY Machine Edition Logic Developer application software applications. Additionally, legacy Hand-Held Programmers (HHP) may be used to write programs to this controller.
The IC693CPU350 has an internal processor which is the 80386EX with typical scan rate of 0.22 milliseconds per 1K of logic for boolean contacts and processing speed of 25 MHz. This controller supports Override capability, interrupts via periodic subroutine feature, PCM / CCM compatibility and Floating point math. Optional communication protocols with the installation of add-on communication modules supported by the IC693CPU350 are Ethernet, FIP, Profibus, GBC, GCM, GCM+ option modules.
The IC693CPU350 CPU is a single-slot CPU module. There are 8 baseplates per system including, the CPU baseplate and 7 expansion or remote baseplates. The IC693CPU350 CPU requires 670 milliamps of current and 5 Volts DC voltage input. The typical scan rate for the CPU module is 0.22 milliseconds per 1 KB of logic.
The maximum user program memory is 32 KB. The discrete input points have capacities of 2048 words and the discrete output points also have capacities of 2048 words. The system registers are 28 words. The IC693CPU350 CPU supports more than 2000 timers and counters. Shift registers are also supported on the CPU module. There is one integrated serial port on the IC693CPU350 CPU which supports the SNP/SNPX slave protocols. The serial port requires a PCM module for RTU master support and a CMM module for SNP/SNP-X master, RTU slave protocol, or CCM support. Both flash and RAM memory are available in the IC693CPU350 CPU. The IC693CPU350 CPU also supports floating point math operations. The working temperature range for the IC693CPU350 CPU is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
