The IC697ACC744 Rack Fan Assembly is a cooling fan assembly with 3 fans made by GE Fanuc. This assembly can be mounted on a 9-slot rack to reduce the heat problems that are common in industrial settings. The IC697ACC744 Rack Fan Assembly comes as a kit that consists of the fan assembly, 8 screws, and additional mounting brackets which are useful when connecting the assembly to older rack models. The 24 Volts DC rack assembly connection is made by connecting 24 AWG leads, which are located on each fan, so that they are paralleled with the positive lead of the power source, and also by grounding all the negative leads. The retainer and the guard of the cooling fan assembly are made from UL94V-0 plastic and the filter type is polyurethane foam, 30 PPI. The IC697 PLC and the rack cooling fans must share the same power source to make sure that the fans are running when the PLC is in the active mode.
