IC754VSL06CTD-ML GE TFT color-loaded display

The IC754VSL06CTD is a TFT color-loaded display and control QuickPanel computer manufactured by GE Fanuc. This device is a portable computer designed for flexibility and adaptability and is ideal for factory floor operations. This display panel is can function as either a standalone unit or a networked device and can be used as an application controller or a human-machine interface.

The IC754VSL06CTD is built on the Microsoft Windows CE.NET operating system, also known as Windows Embedded Compact. Windows Embedded Compact is a 32-bit operating system with a graphic user interface, which functions similarly to other Microsoft operating systems such as Windows 2000 and Windows XP. This display panel is powered by an Intel XScale PXA255 processor operating at 300MHz.

The Windows CE.NET operating system supports several abilities and functions. The Pocket Internet Explorer application is used to load webpages. Note: For this display panel to load websites, a connection to the Internet via Ethernet or dial-up must first be established. An Internet connection via a proxy server is also possible. Other software features include a registry and settings backup, a Storage Manager utility, and file transfer utilities. Additionally, this device can view common file formats such as PDFs, documents, and spreadsheets; however, there are several limitations for viewing these formats.

This device is operated primarily by the 5.75-inch (14.6cm) touchscreen display. The touchscreen has a resolution of 320 X 240 pixels with the capability of producing 65,536 colors. Additional input devices such as external keyboards connected via USB are also supported.

The IC754VSL06CTD has several types of memory, including NVRAM, SRAM, DRAM, and ROM, and certain memory systems can be upgraded. This device also supports one Compact Flash card slot and two USB ports for external storage.
